Constitution does not forbid health care bill, says legal expert

The Supreme Court should affirm the constitutionality of the Affordable Care Act, says law professor Greg Magarian, JD, because the act fits comfortably within a proper understanding of the federal-state balance of power. Noted Irish poet on campus next week

Eiléan Ní Chuilleanáin is among the most celebrated Irish poets of her generation and arguably Ireland’s foremost female poet. On Monday, Feb. 28, and Tuesday, March 1, Ní Chuilleanáin, the Visiting Fannie Hurst Professor of Creative Literature in the Department of English in Arts & Sciences, will present two events as part of The Writing Program’s spring Reading Series. African culture celebrated Feb. 28-March 4
